CMS Demo Main Page

Many of today's Web sites are database driven. This means that the content comes from and is stored in some sort of database and not from static HTML files. Although this allows great flexibility in the content that can be presented, it also makes it more difficult to update and manage that content. This is where a CMS comes in.

What is a CMS? CMS stands for "Content Management System" and allows a non-technical person to manage Web site content. It presents a secure interface to control access by login and password. It can also be set for different levels of access authority. After logging in, a user is presented with an editor similar to a word processing program to enter and modify text input. This editor along with a database to store the information, allows a user to quickly and easily manage online information.

This demo shows articles on Web pages that cover a variety of topics. The flexible nature of the CMS allows for virtually any type of written content.
